Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: FMCG Wholesaler
• Position Title: Facility Technician (M&E)
• Working Location: West – Tuas South (Nearest MRT: Tuas Link)
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 7.45am-4.45pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Up to SGD 3500 + AWS + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on essential building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting
• Quickly address maintenance concerns to reduce downtime and ensure safety
• Operate and monitor the building management systems (BMS) to confirm that mechanical and electrical systems are functioning correctly
• Regularly inspect equipment, such as forklifts and VNAs, report any irregularities, and arrange for necessary repairs or replacements
• Adhere to safety regulations and building codes
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance work and repairs
• Perform routine safety audits and emergency response drills
• Support the overall maintenance of the facility, including tasks like painting, carpentry, and small-scale construction projects
• Liaise with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations when required
• Handle emergency maintenance calls promptly
• Manage an inventory of maintenance tools, parts, and supplies
• Procure and store essential replacement parts as required
• Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance activities, equipment logs, and repairs conducted
• Generate reports detailing the condition of the facility and maintenance activities undertaken

• Min. ITE in Engineering, preferably Electrical/Mechanical
• Min. 3 year of experience in related field, having experience in lift maintenance is a plus
• Skilled in operating and troubleshooting electrical systems
• Comfortable working outdoors which may involve exposure to various weather conditions
• Periodic maintenance duties at the headquarters may be required
• Must have Class 3 driving license for vehicle testing
