  • Weekdays : 8.30 a.m. - 5.30 p.m.

OVERVIEW We are seeking a PR & Communications Executive to support our expanding brand and communications initiatives. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is both creative and highly organized, with a strong interest in understanding how communications, public relations, and brand management operate within the trust and professional services industry.

The role focuses on public relations and corporate communications responsibilities, working closely with the Head of Marketing and external agency partners to support media relations, reputation management, corporate messaging, and communications initiatives. You will be responsible for briefing, reviewing, approving, and tracking agency deliverables, while ensuring the agency receives the information and guidance needed to produce high-quality work that aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Public Relations & Media Management

  • Serve as the first point of contact for inbound media enquiries.
  • Coordinate media responses and interview requests with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with media representatives and industry partners.

Corporate Communications

  • Draft, review, and coordinate press releases, statements, and corporate announcements.
  • Ensure all external communications are aligned with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal communication initiatives and key corporate messaging.

Agency & Vendor Coordination.

  • Prepare clear and structured briefs for external agencies on campaigns and communication materials.
  • Review agency outputs (content, press materials, campaigns) to ensure quality and alignment before approval.
  • Track project timelines and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed deadlines.
  • Coordinate information flow between internal teams and external agency partners effectively.

Reputations & Issues Management

  • Monitor media coverage, news updates, and public sentiment related to the organization.
  • Identify and escalate potential reputational risks or emerging issues at an early stage.
  • Support the development of holding statements and response communications when needed.
  • Assist in ensuring the organization responds appropriately during sensitive situations.

Executive & Spokesperson Support

  • Prepare briefing materials, key messages, and talking points for senior management and board members.
  • Support spokesperson readiness for media interviews, press conferences, and public engagements.
  • Ensure messaging consistency across all external communications and public statements.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-media engagement support for executives.

Social Media & Digital Communications

  • Support the planning, scheduling, and management of content across social media platforms.
  • Work with internal teams and agencies to ensure content aligns with brand voice and communications strategy.
  • Monitor social media activity, engagement, and audience feedback to support brand reputation management.
  • Assist in the coordination of digital campaigns and ensure timely execution of planned content calendars.

Liaison

  • Collaborate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external professionals to ensure smooth coordination and successful outcomes.

SALARY RANGE :

  • RM3,500.00 – RM 4,500.00 per month (depending on experiences).

STATUTORY CONTRIBUTIONS & BENEFITS :

Probation Period (6 Months)

  • EPF & SOCSO contributions will be made according to the statutory guidelines.
  • Annual leave entitlement is 14 days per year, calculated on a pro-rata basis during the probation period.
  • Medical leave is granted up to 14 days per year, as per the Employment Act.

After Confirmation

  • EPF & SOCSO contributions will continue as required by law.
  • Annual leave increases to 18 days per year, with full entitlement effective upon confirmation.
  • Medical leave remains at 14 days annually, in accordance with the Employment Act.
  • Group Medical Insurance coverage is provided to all employees.
  • A monthly lifestyle allowance will be provided to support wellness and lifestyle-related costs.
  • Dental care expenses are reimbursed annually within a specified limit.
  • Optical expenses are reimbursed annually within a specified limit.
