Responsibilities
The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.
The Ticketing Officer will provide dedicated client service and operational support for WKCDA‑owned events (e.g., museum exhibitions, theatre performances, festivals). You will be the primary point of contact for internal event teams, ensuring seamless ticketing setup, sales monitoring, and post‑event reconciliation. This role requires strong attention to detail, event ticketing system knowledge, and a service‑oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Event Ticketing Setup & Management
Coordinate with WKCDA event producers, curators, and venue teams to set up events in the ticketing system (e.g., performance schedules, seat maps, pricing tiers, promotional codes).
Ensure accurate and timely product listing QA (e.g., event descriptions, dates, inventory caps).
Manage ticket inventory allocation, holds, and releases.
Client Service & Support
Serve as the internal ticketing liaison for WKCDA stakeholders, answering queries on sales progress, booking issues, and system functionality.
Handle escalated customer ticket issues (e.g., refunds, exchanges, seating disputes) in compliance with WKCDA policies.
Sales Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor real‑time ticket sales, identify anomalies, and escalate system or inventory discrepancies.
Generate sales reports and reconciliation summaries for finance and event teams.
Process Compliance
Adhere to data privacy regulations (PDPO, PIPL, GDPR) in handling patron information.
Follow internal SOPs for event setup, changes, and closures.
Perform any duties from time to time as reasonably as assigned by the Authority.
You should
possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Event Management, Hospitality, or related field;
have 2+ years of experience in ticketing operations, box office, or client event services;
have hands‑on experience with a ticketing system is mandatory;
have strong numerical and data entry accuracy; ability to work under tight deadlines;
be customer‑oriented with a problem-solving attitude; and
have excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English (Mandarin is a plus).
