Job Description

Responsibilities

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.

The Ticketing Officer will provide dedicated client service and operational support for events organised by external hirers of WKCDA venues. You will act as the primary liaison between hirers and WKCDA’s ticketing system, ensuring smooth event setup, contract compliance, and service delivery. This role balances client relationship management with rigorous operational accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Hirer Onboarding & Event Setup

  • Guide external hirers through the ticketing system onboarding process, including program setup, event configuration, and pricing rules.

  • Review hirers’ product listings (event details, seat maps, ticket types) for QA compliance before going live.

  • Ensure hirers’ events adhere to WKCDA’s ticketing policies, fee structures, and terms & conditions.

Client Service & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the dedicated ticketing contact point for hirers, addressing queries on system functionality, sales reporting, and settlement processes.

  • Coordinate with WKCDA’s legal/finance teams to enforce contractual obligations (e.g., ticket caps, commission rates, data sharing).

Sales Monitoring & Reconciliation

  • Monitor hirers’ event sales, flagging irregularities or system issues.

  • Prepare sales statements and settlement reports for each hirer event, coordinating with finance for timely payout.

Process Optimization

  • Identify recurring hirer issues or setup errors and recommend process improvements to reduce friction.

  • Maintain up‑to‑date documentation (FAQs, setup guides) for hirers.

  • Perform any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.

You should

  • possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Event Management, Hospitality, or related field;

  • have 2+ years of experience in client service, account management, or ticketing operations, preferably in a venue, arts, or entertainment environment;

  • have experience working with external clients/hirers will be strong advantage;

  • have hands‑on experience with a ticketing system;

  • have strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills; ability to enforce policies diplomatically;

  • be detail‑oriented with good numerical and reporting skills;

  • be familiar with venue rental business models is a plus; and

  • have excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English (Mandarin is a plus).
