We’re hiring a Windows Engineer to be deployed onsite with one of our major global financial services clients in Singapore. This is a full-time consulting role where you'll be contributing to the operation and stability of enterprise-scale infrastructure initiatives. Candidate should possess at least 6+ years of professional experience with Windows operating systems, some PowerShell scripting and a strong understanding of Windows systems management using SCCM/MECM, Monitoring, Troubleshooting, and other Windows Technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Work primarily on VDI and Windows 11 environments, including virtual applications and virtual desktops
• Focus on the Microsoft operating system and desktop engineering stack
• Engineer and support on-premises infrastructure
• Perform BAU operations including deploying new versions of Citrix and Windows, performing system upgrades, maintaining Windows environments and virtual desktop infrastructure, and supporting an environment of over 50,000 machines globally
• Design, provide, and deploy sustainable and configurable solutions
• Improve the existing platform following escalations from BAU issues
• Provide advanced support where required
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions to resolve deployment issues and prevent recurrence
  
  

Key Qualifications

• 7+ years of systems engineer experience with Windows and VDI
• Experience engineering, managing, and supporting environments involving VDI (Citrix, RDS), and Microsoft Desktop
• In-depth knowledge in Windows OS internals and group policy
• Experience engineering, managing, and supporting Virtualizations Platforms (VMWare ESX, RedHat OCP)
• Experience with PowerShell as their primary scripting technology
• Previous enterprise-level experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Preferable to have experience engineering, managing, and supporting Server platforms (Windows Server 2016+)
• Previous experience working in a financial institution
