About The Job
The Supply Chain Transition & Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting supply chain readiness and operational continuity during the ERP deployment across Malaysia and Singapore. The role works closely with supply chain SMEs and cross-functional teams to execute data preparation, coordinate process validation and testing, track cutover readiness, and support issue resolution during go-live and hypercare. By managing critical operational activities across planning, warehousing, logistics, and procurement, the role helps ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.

Supply Chain Coordination & Operations
- Support Readiness: Help prepare demand/supply planning, warehousing, logistics, and procurement functions for transition.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate with Finance, IT, Customer Service, and Procurement to keep deployment timelines on track.
- Track Progress: Maintain action logs, risk registers, and readiness trackers.
- Business Continuity: Cover day-to-day operational tasks to maintain service levels while Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) focus on the ERP deployment.
Data Cleanliness & Testing
- Data Prep: Clean and validate master data (materials, inventory, vendors, warehouse locations).
- Fix Data Gaps: Identify and resolve data errors, duplicates, or incorrect mappings.
- Baseline Validation: Verify current stock levels, open purchase orders, and deliveries for accurate migration.
- UAT Support: Assist SMEs in executing test scenarios for planning, warehouse, and logistics processes.
Cutover & Go-Live Preparation
- Cutover Tracking: Monitor site readiness, transaction closures, and stock build-up.
- Stock & Logistics: Align inventory build-up with warehouse capacity and verify 3PL/transportation contingency plans.
- Clean Slate: Ensure open transactions (POs, deliveries, goods movements) are closed before the switch.
Hypercare Support
- Post-Launch Monitoring: Watch over order fulfillment, inventory movements, and delivery execution immediately after go-live.
- Issue Triage: Quickly catch and troubleshoot system errors, stock discrepancies, or process breakdowns to minimize business disruption.
Change Management & Reporting
- Process Adoption: Help business users adopt new ERP workflows and ways of working.
- Training & Documentation: Assist in creating user guides and training materials
- Progress Visibility: Maintain dashboards and project trackers to provide clear updates during control tower and governance meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in areas such as warehouse operations, inventory management, demand/supply planning, or order fulfillment.
- Exposure to Order-to-Deliver (OtD), Supply Chain, or Procure-to-Pay (S2P) processes.
- Experience supporting ERP/system implementations or business transformation initiatives is an advantage.
- Experience working in FMCG or fast-paced operational environments is preferred.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Basic understanding of supply chain processes, including planning, warehousing, transportation, and procurement.
- Familiarity with master data concepts and their impact on operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data tracking, reconciliation, reporting).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage.
- Experience with reporting tools or dashboards is preferred.
