Job Description

Responsibilities

Role Overview:

We are hiring a Technical Product Lead to own the technical architecture of our HR tech offering and lead the engineering side of our product as it grows from MVP to production. You will be part of the core team, working closely with the founder, the engineering team, and HR domain experts to shape what we build, how we build it, and how we scale it.


Responsibilities:


Technical architecture and engineering leadership

  • Own the technical architecture and roadmap of the platform across frontend, backend, data, and integration layers
  • Lead design decisions on multi-tenancy, scalability, performance, hosting, and data residency
  • Set engineering standards for code quality, security, testing, and documentation, and guide the team in applying them
  • Review pull requests, weigh in on architecture trade-offs, and unblock the team on technical decisions
  • Drive enterprise readiness, including SOC2 alignment, audit logging, role-based access, and security posture suitable for enterprise and government clients
  • Work directly with the offshore engineering team on prioritisation, technical direction, and delivery


System integration and enterprise architecture

  • Define and maintain an integration roadmap across ATS, HRIS, payroll, onboarding, CRM, analytics, and identity systems
  • Design integration patterns using REST APIs, web services, webhooks, middleware, ETL, or SFTP where appropriate
  • Drive enterprise identity requirements such as SSO (SAML or OIDC), user provisioning (SCIM is a plus), role-based access control, and audit logs


Testing, UAT, and release readiness

  • Plan and coordinate workflow-based UAT with internal users and pilot customers, with clear scenarios and acceptance criteria
  • Support regression testing and release management practices to improve reliability and reduce rework
  • Product and commercial enablement


Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related with 7 to 10 years of experience in software architecture, custom application development, system integration, or enterprise IT delivery
  • Demonstrated experience leading the technical architecture of an enterprise product or SaaS platform end to end
  • Strong full-stack background with the ability to write code, review code, and guide architecture decisions across frontend, backend services, databases, and cloud fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience integrating enterprise systems using APIs, web services, or middleware, ideally across ATS, HRIS, payroll, CRM, analytics, or identity systems
  • Experience supporting IT tenders, proposals, or RFP responses, including architecture diagrams, technical write-ups, effort estimation, and client-facing presentations
  • Practical experience with system testing, UAT coordination, regression testing, and release management for enterprise systems
