Role Summary
The Business Development Consultant (B2B) is responsible for opening and growing new revenue channels for Verdant Solar across Malaysia. The role focuses on two core outcomes: securing property developer accounts that bundle solar systems into new landed home projects, and cultivating a robust network of adjacent industry partners (such as architects, engineers, and contractors) who refer or co-deliver solar solutions.
This is an advanced, non-transactional relationship role. Success requires high operational independence, sound commercial judgment, and deep compliance discipline to navigate long sales cycles and lead end-to-end tender submissions seamlessly. While the role does not formally manage direct reports, it plays a critical cross-functional role—working alongside technical, project, and marketing teams to deliver flawless commercial bids while acting as a trusted ambassador for Verdant Solar’s core values.
