TG Singapore Hiring! Full Time Day 2 Infrastructure Engineer in North-east Region (Singapore) - Ricebowl

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in mission-critical 24/7 environments while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and maintain servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, firewalls, and related infrastructure
• Install, configure, and support Windows Server, RHEL, and system management tools
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, capacity planning, and performance tuning
• Manage backup, recovery, and replication activities to ensure data integrity and availability
• Conduct infrastructure security hardening based on CIS benchmarks and Singapore Government security standards
• Support IT governance, audit, compliance, and disaster recovery activities
• Participate in infrastructure implementation, enhancement projects, and change management processes
• Support enterprise hardware including Dell servers, Cisco switches, FortiGate firewalls, UPS, and Dell EMC storage
• Manage virtualization and container platforms such as VMware and OpenShift/Kubernetes
• Utilize monitoring and automation tools including Grafana, Prometheus, Ansible, and GitLab
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, diagrams, maintenance logs, and reports
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement to enhance infrastructure reliability

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure administration and support
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, RHEL, VMware, enterprise servers, storage, and networking
• Experience with backup/recovery solutions, firewalls, and monitoring platforms
• Familiarity with OpenShift/Kubernetes, DevOps tools, and ITIL processes
• Relevant certifications such as MCSE, RHCSA/RHCE, VMware VCP, or ITIL Foundation will be an added advantage
• Experience in pre-sales or tender preparation is a plus
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Positive attitude with strong initiative and ownership
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work independently and perform under pressure
