Responsibilities

  • Strengthen quality controls as participant onboarding platforms scale in volume, integrations, and change frequency
  • Prevent production defects and onboarding failures through stronger automation and earlier testing
  • Embed quality and risk thinking into Improving Participant Onboarding journey (IPOJ) delivery as release velocity increases
  • Ensure onboarding journeys remain reliable, secure, and usable for all participants

What You Will Actually Do

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and scripts
  • Define and execute testing strategies in collaboration with engineering and product teams
  • Perform advanced testing across performance, security, scalability, and usability dimensions
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve testing workflows
  • Troubleshoot complex quality issues and continuously improve QA practices
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and reinforce quality standards

  • Working with developers to improve testability of new onboarding features

What Will Help You Succeed

Required

  • Hands‑on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or Postman/Newman
  • Experience building automation frameworks using Python with JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber
  • Strong backend testing capabilities including SQL and API testing
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
  • Solid understanding of functional, performance, security, and usability testing

Helpful

  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or K6
  • Exposure to Agile delivery environments (Scrum or Kanban)
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing standards
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior QA engineers
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Certifications such as ISTQB or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
