Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage end-to-end monitoring and observability solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack, Zabbix, and New Relic.
• Develop and maintain custom dashboards and visualization panels to monitor system health, application performance, and service-level indicators (SLIs).
• Implement and optimize alerting strategies to proactively detect, troubleshoot, and resolve system anomalies and performance issues.
• Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Operations teams to ensure all critical services are properly instrumented with metrics, logs, and traces.
• Automate monitoring and alerting configurations using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform to ensure scalability and consistency.
• Integrate monitoring and observability pipelines into CI/CD workflows to provide continuous visibility throughout the deployment lifecycle.
• Maintain, scale, and optimize monitoring infrastructure to ensure high performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Support incident management processes by delivering accurate telemetry data and actionable insights for faster diagnosis and resolution.
• Develop, document, and maintain runbooks and playbooks to standardize troubleshooting and incident response procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to post-incident reviews, driving continuous improvement in system reliability and observability coverage.
• Work with engineering teams to define and implement monitoring standards, including metrics, logging, and distributed tracing for new and existing services.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance monitoring frameworks, while providing training and documentation to internal teams on dashboard usage and effective metric interpretation.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role.
• Proven experience with monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, ELK Stack, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and cloud environments (AWS).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of logging, tracing, and metrics best practices within observability stacks.
