ProMinent Fluid Controls Hiring! Full Time PROJECT ENGINEER in Selangor - Ricebowl

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join ProMinent Fluid Controls (M) Sdn Bhd as a PROJECT ENGINEER. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering successful project outcomes for the team. This is a full-time position based in Bandar Bukit Puchong, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

• Lead project planning, execution, cost management, and delivery for ProMinent’s projects.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders consisting of various disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, etc.) to advance and optimize project execution tasks.

• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure project viability.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and ProMinent’s regulatory requirements.

• Manage project documentation and inspections, including technical reports, procedures and specifications: 

  • Prepare design drawing, P&ID, data sheets, procedures and execute document submission according to the document deliverables list

  • Prepare progress reports / project schedule updates

  • Understand all important project specifications and requirement

  • Site visits

  • Liaise with Lead Project Engineer / Unit Manager / Manager on general progress of on-going jobs

  • Assist Lead Project Engineer / Unit Manager on supplier management (expediting work, factory visits), FAT and punch items clearance

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting during installation and operation.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Engineering (Chemical/ Mechanical/Electrical) or a related field

• At least 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer or in project engineering within the Oil & Gas, Water Treatment, or Power industry

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies

• Knowledge of project management principles and best practices

• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure

• Possess own car and willing to travel
