Job Position: QA/QC Executive

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA & QC Executive to join our dynamic team at GOLDEN LEAF INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD. in our Factory, Serendah location. Job Responsibilities:

Quality & Food Safety

  • Inspect incoming raw materials / packaging materials and outgoing finished goods for quality, damage, labelling, product coding and compliance with specifications.

  • Monitor product quality and food safety compliance during production.

  • Perform inspection and verification activities for raw materials, in-process, and finished products.

  • Conduct audits of plant hygiene, operator hygiene, and proper handling of materials.

  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Halal requirements.

  • Conduct CCP monitoring and verification activities.

  • Handle non-conforming products and implement corrective actions.

Documentation & Records

  • Maintain BMR records, reports, and inspection documents.

  • Review production and quality records for completeness and accuracy.

  • Prepare specifications, and quality-related documentation.

Laboratory & Testing

  • Coordinate internal and external laboratory testing.

  • Monitor microbiological and chemical test results.

  • Ensure sampling activities are conducted according to procedures.

  • Plan and verify calibration status of measuring equipment.

Audit & Compliance

  • Assist during customer, internal, and regulatory audits.

  • Follow up on corrective actions and audit findings.

  • Support implementation of food safety and quality systems.

Training & Improvement

  • Conduct GMP/HACCP/food safety awareness training when required.

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.

  • Support investigation of customer complaints and quality issues.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Degree in Food Science/ Food Tech or related field.

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably within the food and beverage industry.

  • Strong in understanding of quality control principles, procedures, and best practices.

  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, HALAL and food safety systems.

  • Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards. Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet deadline.
