Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • IT Support and Incident Management:

    • Assist in logging and tracking IT incidents and service requests via the Jira ITSM system.

    • Provide basic technical support for users under the supervision of IT Executives, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

    • Help document recurring incidents and contribute to root cause analysis

    • Learn to manage tickets, prioritize issues, and maintain SLA compliance.

  • Hardware, Network, and System Support:

    • Support the setup, installation, and maintenance of laptops, printers, and meeting room VC equipment (e.g., Microsoft Teams Rooms).

    • Assist in basic network troubleshooting (LAN/Wi-Fi, connectivity, and access issues).

    • Participate in system monitoring and help update documentation for infrastructure changes.

  • Asset Management:

    • Help maintain accurate IT asset inventories (hardware, software, and licenses).

    • Support in preparing and updating asset tagging, documentation, and disposal records.

    • Learn procurement and vendor coordination processes by shadowing IT Executives during vendor engagements.

  • Security and Compliance:

    • Assist the team in enforcing security policies and good practices to ensure data and system protection.

    • Support documentation for ISMS compliance and internal audit preparation.

    • Participate in awareness activities related to cybersecurity and compliance.

  • Learning and Development:

    • Gain exposure to ITIL service management principles and incident handling best practices.

    • Collaborate with internal teams on IT improvement and digitalization initiatives.

    • Attend training sessions or workshops as assigned to enhance technical and soft skills.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, networks, and operating systems.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and interest in learning ITSM tools (e.g., Jira).

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

  • Eagerness to learn, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate professionalism and integrity.

  • Willing to go the extra mile to ensure tasks are completed on time and to high standards.
