The Automation Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing Preventive) is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated machinery and control systems. This role supports production operations by ensuring automation equipment runs safely, efficiently, and reliably, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Job Responsibilities:
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on automated logistic systems and related components.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and company procedures.

• Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failure recurrence.

• Monitor system performance, log issues, and escalate critical faults to engineering or vendor support when necessary.
• Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new logistic automation equipment.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and SOPs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues in real time.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, vendors) to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
• Provide technical support during plant shutdowns or system upgrades.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.

Requirements:
• Diploma/Certificate in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with automation systems, conveyors, AGVs, sensors, and control panels.
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting (Siemens, Omron, etc.) is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of industrial networking and I/O systems.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns.
• Good communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
