D & A Group Limited Hiring! Full Time Quality Assurance Manager in Kowloon Peninsula, Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Reports to: QA Senior Manager

Location: Hong Kong

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a high-caliber QA Manager to lead and oversee quality control and regulatory compliance across our manufacturing sites in China, South East Asia. This role is critical in ensuring that our specialty chemical products (edge paint and leather finishes) meet the rigorous standards of global luxury brands while maintaining strict environmental and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Regional Quality Governance

• Standardization: Establish and harmonize QA/QC protocols across our production sites to ensure consistent product excellence.

• Site Management: Lead and mentor local QC teams; conduct regular on-site audits to verify adherence to SOPs.

• Data-Driven Monitoring: Implement a regional KPI dashboard to track batch consistency, rejection rates, and root cause analysis (RCA).

2. Chemical & Environmental Compliance

• Regulatory Leadership: Ensure all products and processes comply with our clients’ protocol.

• Certification Management: Oversee the maintenance and renewal of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, as well as other chemical management certifications across all regions.

• Client Interface: Act as the primary technical point of contact for luxury brand auditors regarding chemical safety and sustainability.

3. External Lab & Certification Coordination

·       External Liaison: Act as the key technical window for external testing laboratories and certification bodies.

·       Testing Strategy: Provide technical feedback in defining testing protocols based on client-specific restricted substance lists (RSL).

·       Results Review & Technical Feedback: Critically review lab test reports and certification audit findings. Provide technical feedback and "Root Cause" guidance when results deviate from requirements.

4. Continuous Improvement & Technical Support

• Process Optimization: Utilize quality management methodologies to optimize our QC process.

• Failure Analysis: Lead investigations into complex quality claims, working closely with the R&D and Technical Support team to provide corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Requirements:

Academic & Professional Background:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline is preferable.

• Experience: Minimum 7–10 years in QA/QC management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

·       Proficiency in quality management system.

• Compliance: Proven expertise in ZDHC, REACH standards, compliance programs, and management of ISO systems is preferable.

• Language: Strong command of English and Mandarin (written and spoken).

• Ability to coordinate effectively across departments and communicate clearly with all stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments, including regulatory and client-driven constraints.

• Ability to navigate diverse cultural and regulatory landscapes in SE Asia.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to track, interpret, and act on quality, safety, and environmental performance metrics.

• Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
