Job description:
We are looking for a driven and motivated Seller Recruitment Candidate to grow PGMall’s marketplace by onboarding high-quality sellers and brands. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, acquiring new merchants, and supporting sellers to succeed on the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Seller Acquisition & Onboarding
- Identify, prospect, and recruit new sellers, SMEs, and brands to join PGMall.
- Pitch PGMall’s value proposition and negotiate onboarding terms.
- Guide sellers through account registration, listing setup, and platform activation.
Business Development & Growth
- Develop strategies to expand seller base across key categories.
- Achieve monthly onboarding and revenue targets.
- Build a strong pipeline of potential sellers through outreach and networking.
Seller Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with newly onboarded merchants.
- Support sellers in early-stage performance and adoption of platform tools.
- Act as the main point of contact for seller inquiries during onboarding.
- Campaign & Commercial Support
- Collaborate with internal teams on campaigns, promotions, and category growth.
- Encourage seller participation in platform initiatives (Mega Sale, vouchers, etc.).
- Provide insights on seller needs and market trends.
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor competitor marketplace activities and seller recruitment trends.
- Gather feedback to improve seller acquisition strategies and processes.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related fields.
Experience
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in:
-Seller acquisition
-Business development
-Account management
-Marketplace or e-commerce industry

- Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Sales-driven and target-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build relationships with merchants and partners.
- Familiar with e-commerce platforms and online seller ecosystem.
- Comfortable with outreach via calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
- Good analytical skills to evaluate seller potential and category growth.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and CRM tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- Experience onboarding sellers in Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Zalora, etc.
- Knowledge of Malaysian e-commerce seller landscape.
- Existing network of merchants/brands.
- Understanding of GMV, ADO, conversion metrics. Personality Traits
