Position: Head of Technical

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all technical aspects of renewable energy project development, from feasibility study to commissioning
• Oversee engineering design review, technical due diligence, and risk mitigation strategies
• Manage a cross-functional team including civil, structural, and electrical engineers
• Provide input on project viability, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships
• Act as technical lead across M&A, IPP development, and stakeholder engagements
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, grid connection requirements, and regulatory frameworks

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in renewable energy, electrical power systems, or infrastructure projects
• Deep technical knowledge in power engineering, project development, and risk management
• Strong leadership with a track record of managing technical teams and external consultants
• Hands-on experience in solar PV, BESS, or clean energy infrastructure is highly desirable
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Power Engineering or equivalent
