Quality Assurance / Quality Control Inspection performs assessment, documentation, and organization tasks to support the efficiency and effectiveness of their organization’s supply chain.

Compliance Monitoring: Ensure daily operations, storage, and food preparation comply with Halal standards and JAKIM requirements.

Documentation & Audits: Maintain, update, and audit Halal certification documents, raw material lists, and supplier records.

Internal Audits: Conduct regular inspections of outlets or production areas to identify and fix non-conformities.

Training & Education: Provide Halal awareness training and briefings to staff.

Supplier & Raw Material Control: Verify that all raw materials are Halal-certified.

Quality Assurance Responsibilities:

Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and standards of quality and hygiene.

Quality Assurance, ensure that the foods imported from the manufacturing process are verified upon arrival shipment.

Inspecting incoming shipments and loading goods, QC must be verified.

Establish quality control processes and procedures for evaluating and receiving food components from suppliers.

Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected

Performing routine inspections and quality tests.

Ensuring that standards and safety regulations are observed.

Addressing and discussing issues and proposed solutions with superiors.

Documenting quality assurance activities and creating audit reports.

Making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

Minimum SPM level or Diploma/Degree in Quality Control/ Assurance, Foods Technology, Engineering Food, Halal compliance or equivalent qualification with relevant foods manufacturing working experience.

At least 2-year working experience with quality-related products

Knowledge: Strong understanding of JAKIM Halal certification, quality assurance is a plus.

Previous experience in quality assurance or a similar field.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
