Suria KLCC Hiring! Full Time Executive, HSE in WP Kuala Lumpur - Ricebowl

Job Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, maintains and supervises of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures and programs within the shopping mall environment.

• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments for mall common areas, tenants, contractors, and facilities operations.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EQA, and relevant regulations.

• Review HSE documentations in related to fit-out, maintenance works, and permit-to-work compliance.

• Investigate incidents, accidents, unsafe acts, and near misses, including preparing reports and corrective action recommendations.

• Maintain Center Emergency Response Plan and coordinate annual Total Center Evacuation with full participation of staff, tenants, contractors, and the public.

• Liaise with tenants, contractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders on HSE-related matters.

• Maintain HSE records, reports, licenses, permits, and statutory documentation.

• Support sustainability and environmental initiatives, including waste management and energy-saving programs.

• Provide HSE consultation to other projects currently undertaken by Suria KLCC.

 Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in HSE, preferably in shopping mall, retail, commercial building, or property management environment.

• Certified SHO/ SSS or CePSWaM holder will be an added advantage.

• Possesses good knowledge of OSHA (Amendment) 2022, Environmental Quality Act 1974 (EQA), relevant regulations, and operational safety requirements for shopping malls.

• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

• Able to work independently and effectively manage multiple operational matters.

• Willing to work after office hours and undertake occasional outstation travel, including weekends and public holidays, as required for mall operations, events, or emergencies.
