Responsibilities

Cinema Admin Assistant - Velvet Cinemas | Sunway 163 Mall, Mont Kiara

Join our team and play an important role in ensuring smooth day-to-day administration and operational coordination at one of our premium cinema locations. If you’re organised, enjoy supporting people and operations, and thrive in a fast-moving environment, we’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Provide administrative and operational support to cinema management and outlet teams

  • Manage staff attendance records and maintain accurate employee documentation

  • Support payroll preparation including attendance, leave, and overtime administration

  • Monitor staff schedules, medical leave, and certification validity records

  • Support onboarding and offboarding administration including uniform issuance and clearance process

  • Manage office supplies, uniforms, and inventory coordination

  • Create and process Purchase Orders (PO) and maintain related documentation

  • Attend meetings and prepare minutes of meeting where required

  • Maintain organised filing systems and ensure document confidentiality

  • Coordinate internal communication and administrative matters with relevant stakeholders

  • Support training administration and employee record maintenance

  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent

  • Experience in hospitality, retail, operations support, or administration is an added advantage

  • Strong coordination and organisational skills

  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • High integrity, reliability, and attention to detail

  • Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required

  • Positive team player with a proactive attitude
