Job Description

As an AVP, System Maintenance & Operations, your main responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Linux-based systems to ensure high availability and performance.
• Managing and monitoring infrastructure to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Leading system upgrades, patches, and configurations to align with organizational requirements.
• Collaborating with internal teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and security protocols for all systems.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to a team of IT professionals.
• Documenting system configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and knowledge sharing.
• Responding to incidents and conducting root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AVP, System Maintenance & Operations should have:

• Strong expertise in managing Linux-based systems within an enterprise IT environment.
• Proficiency in infrastructure management, system optimization, and troubleshooting.
• In-depth knowledge of IT security practices and compliance standards in the financial services sector.
• Experience in leading technical teams and managing large-scale IT projects.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system management.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
