Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of software development projects across China, Hong Kong, and Macau. The role covers both pre-sales support and post-sales implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.

The ideal candidate possesses strong stakeholder management skills, cross-border coordination experience, and solid technical awareness. Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin is required to effectively engage regional clients, with English proficiency for documentation and internal collaboration.

The role requires flexibility to travel across China, Hong Kong, and Macau as needed to support client engagements and project delivery.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, managing, and delivering software development and AI-related projects, ensuring timely and high-quality project completion aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, including requirement analysis, solution planning, meeting coordination, progress tracking, risk management, and regular reporting to clients and management.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and team coordination to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
• Participate in software development activities, including coding, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues with efficient and maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate closely with clients, business users, developers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and propose suitable technical and AI-driven solutions.
• Involve in AI, automation, data analytics, or LLM-related projects, supporting solution implementation and integration into business operations.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including requirement specifications, system design documents, test reports, and user documentation.
• Ensure all projects comply with development standards, quality assurance requirements, governance policies, and organisational procedures.

Job Qualification & Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in software development experience, with a background in Java development and project management; experience in the fin-tech industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python, and familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle and DB2 is preferred.
• Solid project management experience and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).
• Excellent communication skills and strong team spirit, with the ability to work effectively in cross-departmental environments.
• PMP or other project management certifications are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel within the Greater Bay Area and adapt to flexible work arrangements.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
