Duties and Responsibilities:

• To monitor and ensure production processes and products are met with company’s requirement and ISO standards;
• To set up and implement work instruction and procedure and ensure they are being followed;
• To participate in production briefing and meetings, ensure proper daily planning of production;
• To review on production orders, schedules, delivery dates and ensure on time delivery of goods to next processes;
• To plan and schedule for mould change for daily work assignment and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assigned accordingly;
• To liaise with raw material store and others section for incoming and outgoing stocks;
• To set up new mould in machines for test run operation and record the machines parameters;
• To set up mould according to data correctly as in machine setting form;
• To ensure all mould setting for respective machines are recorded and filed properly for reference;
• To ensure rubber compound are ready in stock and issue purchase requisition for insufficient material;
• To check and ensure that rubber compound are used and consumed before the safety storage period;
• To monitor and ensure products manufacturing process are according to the control procedures and specification during production;
• To study, analyse and trouble shoot problems arise from moulding section;
• To make investigation on any mould damage and the cause of it for corrective action to be taken;
• To ensure all the moulds kept tidily and arrange in the respective shelves according to racking system;
• To inspect and check mould before and after usage for any damages;
• To liaise with Product Development Department for any mould repairing and ensure moulds are serviced according to schedule given;
• To prepare schedule for repairing and services for machines to ensure the machine safety and prevention of breakdown;
• To document and record product quality, reject, non-conformities data for analysis on performance of the product;
• To ensure workers are responsible for inspecting goods and perform random quality checks on products and processes;
• To ensure correct counting of products quantity and ensure proper records of WIP slip;
• To report and track discrepancies on goods received and dispense;
• To prepare and submit on daily production output report and ensure production target are met;
• To review the overall performance and identify training necessities of production personnel;
• To lead, supervise, monitor and motivate moulding operators to achieve monthly’s target and strive for productivity and quality awareness;
• To maintain workers discipline and resolve problems and grievances of subordinates;
• To recommend, improve and report the effectiveness of process flow to superior;
• To ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness and adhesive of safety and health regulation;
• To oversee other production processes during night shift to ensure operation efficiency;
• To adhere to the company’s rules & regulations as stipulated in the appointment letter;
• To perform any other related duties as assigned by superior from time to time.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
