Responsibilities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working Location: Pekan Nanas
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 5:30pm
- Saturday (Half day) - 8:30am - 12:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- CNC Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery (e.g., CNC routers, edge banders, and panel saws) to produce high-quality wooden components for furniture.
- Programming & Setup: Input and modify CNC programs based on technical drawings and specifications. Ensure tools are correctly installed and calibrated for each job.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design and production teams to interpret technical drawings and resolve any machining issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine settings, maintenance activities, and production outputs.
Skills
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in CNC machining, preferably in woodworking or furniture manufacturing.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Knowledge of tooling and fixture setup.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Additional Desirable Skills
- Experience with CNC programming.
- Familiarity with woodworking machinery and tools.
- Knowledge of material properties and their impact on machining processes.
