Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Framework Implementation: Responsible for the implementation, coordination, and continuous enhancement of the Group Compliance Management and Integrity framework across all business operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Reporting: Monitor applicable laws, regulations, client requirements, and industry standards, and prepare timely compliance updates, reports, and dashboards for Management, ARMC, and Board Committees.
  • Legal and Contractual Documentation Review: Coordinate the administrative review and compliance assessment of new and existing contractual and legal documents, including MoUs, JV agreements, LOAs, NDAs, service agreements, and other corporate or operational documents to ensure alignment with regulatory, governance, and internal requirements.
  • Integrity, Code of Conduct and ABAC Administration: Administer the Group’s Code of Conduct, ethics, integrity, and Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption (ABAC) programs, including awareness initiatives and compliance monitoring activities.
  • Whistleblowing and Conflict of Interest (COI) Management: Coordinate whistleblowing cases and manage the declaration, tracking, and monitoring of Conflict of Interest (COI) disclosures in accordance with governance requirements.
  • Internal Due Diligence and Compliance Screening: Execute internal due diligence and compliance screening exercises for employees, vendors, business associates, and related parties in line with Bursa Malaysia, Securities Commission (SC), and internal governance requirements.
  • Regulatory and Compliance Gap Assessment: Conduct compliance and governance gap assessments against legal, regulatory, contractual, and internal requirements, and recommend corrective and improvement actions.
  • Compliance Documentation and Licensing Coordination: Maintain and monitor compliance-related records, statutory documents, licenses, certifications, and supporting documentation to ensure validity and regulatory readiness.
  • Training, Awareness and Other Support Functions: Coordinate compliance, ethics, and integrity awareness programs to promote a strong governance culture and support other Compliance Management & Integrity (CMI) and Integrated Governance & Compliance (IGC)-related assignments as directed by Management.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Corporate Governance, Business Administration, Compliance, Risk Management, Finance, or related disciplines from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of working experience in Compliance, Governance, Integrity, Legal Administration, Internal Audit, or related functions. Experience in PLC, oil & gas, or regulated industries is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, Securities Commission (SC) guidelines, Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption (ABAC) practices, and general corporate governance requirements.
  • Familiarity with internal due diligence exercises, compliance documentation, regulatory reporting, and administration of contractual/legal documents such as MoUs, JV agreements, LOAs, and NDAs.
  • Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and report-writing skills with high integrity, professionalism, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
