Job Description

Responsibilities

Role:

  • We are hiring an Application Support Engineer to support the stability and reliability of deployed software applications.
  • This role is suitable for candidates with strong problem-solving skills and an interest in production application support, including technical investigation, issue resolution, and collaboration with engineering, QA, infrastructure, and support teams.
  • You will help investigate incidents, identify root causes, support fixes, and reduce recurring application issues in a structured engineering environment.
  • This role requires application-level troubleshooting and code-level debugging beyond first-level support.


Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve post-deployment application issues, including configuration, performance, integration, and software defects.
  • Perform code-level debugging and support bug fixes with the development team.
  • Review logs, alerts, and monitoring data to support incident investigation and performance troubleshooting.
  • Support integration issues involving APIs, messaging platforms, authentication, databases, and connected systems.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, known issues, root-cause findings, and best practices.
  • Participate in planned standby, shift, or overtime support when required by project needs.


Required Skills:

  • 2 years of relevant professional experience in application support, software support, production support, software maintenance, or software engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in software troubleshooting, debugging, and bug fixing.
  • Ability to investigate issues across application, configuration, performance, and integration layers.
  • Experience supporting post-deployment applications or production incidents.
  • Ability to explain technical issues clearly, provide timely updates, and collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders during issue resolution.
  • Willingness to participate in planned standby, shift, or overtime support when required by project needs.
