Job Description

Responsibilities

Role:

  • We are looking for an IT project manager to lead large-scale government IT system implementation projects in Singapore.
  • This is a hands-on delivery role covering project planning, SIT/UAT, cutover, rollback planning, production readiness and go-live execution.
  • You will work closely with government stakeholders, internal delivery teams and technical teams across application, infrastructure, integration and security.
  • This role is suitable for someone who enjoys structured project delivery, stakeholder management and bringing clarity to complex implementation environments.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end IT project delivery from planning through go-live.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Coordinate across application, infrastructure, integration, security and business teams.
  • Work with stakeholders to align expectations, priorities and delivery timelines.
  • Drive SIT/UAT coordination, defect follow-up and testing readiness.
  • Plan deployment activities, including cutover, rollback and contingency planning.
  • Ensure Day 1 / production readiness before go-live.
  • Lead project meetings, governance reviews and regular status updates.
  • Maintain project documentation, change records, approval records and audit-ready artefacts.
  • Prepare clear project reports, executive summaries and dashboards.


Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of IT project management experience in large-scale IT implementation or rollout projects.
  • Experience managing complex projects involving multiple teams, systems and stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with project planning, scheduling, risk management and issue resolution.
  • Experience coordinating SIT, UAT, defect tracking, deployment planning, cutover and go-live readiness.
  • Ability to work with technical teams across application, infrastructure, integration and security.
  • Clear stakeholder management, verbal and written communication, and project reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, assess risks clearly and make timely decisions in time-sensitive situations.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile or hybrid delivery methods.
