Role Description

AUCOTEC is seeking an Application Engineer for a full-time, on-site position located in Selangor, Malaysia. As an Application Engineer, you will provide technical support, assist in software implementation and customization, and work closely with clients to address engineering challenges. Responsibilities also include testing software functionalities, providing feedback to the development team, and collaborating on solutions for electrical and mechanical engineering applications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Technical Support to address client concerns and provide high-quality solutions
• Competence in Software Development, including implementation, customization, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Electrical Engineering/Process to support projects related to power systems and control designs
• Understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles in the context of system and component design
• Experience in Testing software performance, functionality, and reliability for engineering applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to delivering effective and efficient technical solutions
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Previous experience in engineering software or industrial applications is an advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
