IT Procurement Consultant

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We are looking for a detail-oriented IT Procurement professional to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management of IT hardware, software, and services. The role ensures cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of IT products (hardware, software, licenses, and services)
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors/suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Raise purchase orders (POs) and track order fulfilment
• Ensure timely delivery of IT equipment and services
• Maintain vendor relationships and monitor performance
• Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement processes
• Work closely with IT, finance, and internal stakeholders to understand requirements

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in IT procurement or purchasing
• Strong knowledge of IT products (laptops, servers, networking, software licenses, etc.)
• Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation
• Familiarity with procurement tools / ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
