Mitraland Group Hiring! Full Time Resident Engineer in Selangor - Ricebowl

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure all civil and structural works are constructed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and architectural intent
• Review engineering and architectural drawings to identify coordination discrepancies and outstanding details
• Highlight and communicate design or construction issues to designers for amendment or practical solutions
• Ensure all required site tests and inspections are carried out by the Contractor in accordance with specifications and Bills of Quantities
• Assist consultants in coordinating works between site and design office
• Maintain proper records of site instructions, test results, inspection records, and site diary for QC purposes.
• Lead and supervise a team of Inspectors of Works (IOWs) to ensure workmanship quality.
• Take lead in defects inspection and rectification for completed projects
• Take lead of IOWs for preparation of monitoring report of manpower and work progress (especially when project suffer from critical delay)
• Oversee general site maintenance and attend to ad-hoc defective works as directed
• Prepare and submit fortnightly Resident Engineer reports

Requirements:

• Must possess Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural or its equivalent
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in infrastructure works and high-rise residential projects.
• Able to lead a team of IOW to achieve high standard of Quality Control as required by CONQUAS/QCLASSIC
• Meticulous, resourceful and proactive with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision
• Able to liaise with Client, Consultants and Authorities in an effective manner
