We are looking for a practical, highly experienced HR Specialist to work closely with management to strengthen our operational systems. HR Specialist
What you'll be doing
As a HR Specialist, you own the structural backbone of our organization. You're the neutral, objective, and policy-driven custodian of company policies, legal compliance, and operational systems, turning ambiguity into clear, compliant frameworks from scratch.
1. Legal & contract management
You'll draft and standardize all corporate legal texts, including Employment Agreements, NDAs, and future Freelancer Contracts. You will ensure 100% compliance with the Malaysia Employment Act, keeping the company's legal and operational boundaries fully protected.
2. Performance systems & Industrial Relations (IR)
You'll design and roll out the company’s Appraisal System to assist department heads in driving a results-oriented culture. When high-friction situations arise, you will independently execute legally sound Industrial Relations (IR) processes, Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), Domestic Inquiries (DI), and terminations.
3. Policy & compliance framework
You'll overhaul the Employee Handbook and SOPs, establishing a neutral, professional, and fair framework across the organization. Follow-through is a core part of this role; you'll ensure institutional fairness is maintained and legacy practices are seamlessly updated.
4. Visa & expatriate management
You'll independently manage the end-to-end processing, submission, and renewal of MDEC and Expatriate visas, working passes, and related LHDN documentations. Nothing falls through the cracks on your watch when it comes to keeping our diverse international talent compliant.
5. Core HR operations
You will securely maintain highly confidential salary records and oversee leave and attendance auditing systems. You'll partner closely with management to ensure internal manpower metrics are fully optimized and private employee data remains tightly protected.
