Welcome Construction Company Limited has undertaken government projects from Drainage Services Department, Civil Engineering and Development Department, Water Supplies Department and Highways Department in the past years. We specialize in roads and drainage works including construction of river channels, box culverts and pumping stations, drain laying, CCTV works, pipe lining, slope stabilization, etc.

The Measurement Co-ordinator shall be bilingual in Cantonese and English and shall preferably be a Corporate Member of an appropriate professional institution or equivalent with a minimum 2 years relevant post-qualification experience or have an acceptable university degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline with a minimum 7 years relevant post-qualification experience or have an acceptable Diploma or Higher Certificate or equivalent in an appropriate discipline with a minimum 9 years relevant post-qualification experience. Otherwise, the Measurement Co-ordinator shall:

(a) be a Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in the Civil Discipline or equivalent or a Corporate member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors in quantity surveying discipline or equivalent with a minimum of two year relevant post-qualification experience;

or (b) have an acceptable university degree in Building or in Civil Engineering or in other relevant subjects plus a minimum of seven years of post-qualification experience in road and drainage maintenance contracts or of other appropriate building or civil engineering contracts;

or (c) possess a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building or in Civil Engineering or in other relevant subjects plus a minimum of five years of post-qualification experience in the management or supervision of road and drainage maintenance contracts or of other appropriate building or civil engineering contracts; or an Associate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in the Building/Civil/Structural Discipline, or an Associate Membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors in the Quantity Surveying Division plus a minimum of four years post-qualification experience in the management or supervision of road and drainage maintenance contracts or of other appropriate building or civil engineering contracts;

or (d) at least have 15 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying works.

The Measurement Co-ordinator shall also (i) have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience as Measurement Co-ordinator in the use of NEC contracts, or (ii) be an accredited or certified NEC Project Manager or Service Manager recognised by an international or local construction-related professional institution/institute, or (iii) have successfully completed a recognised training course for NEC Project Manager or Service Manager. A recognised training course for NEC Project Manager or Service Manager refers to a training course that enables participants to be regarded as having acquired the required standard necessary to act in the respective role upon successful completion of the training course, as recognised by an international or local construction-related professional institution/institute.
