Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement in safety performance by reviewing and monitoring a suite of risk management performance indicators including precursors, Operations System Safety Assurance (OSSA) of Hong Kong Transport Services Business Unit and benchmarking across various business units
- Steer technical system assurance excellence and innovation via digitalisation, exploration of new fit-for-purpose risk management tools, applications and methods of training
- Lead system assurance review for major upgrade/modification works in the operating railway with multiple stakeholders and act as system assurance representative from operations and maintenance perspective for review on new railway extensions
- Support review of Global Operations Standards by providing inputs and advice related to system assurance
- Deliver high quality risk management services by developing and monitoring the performance of professional team members
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or in a Risk Management related discipline
- A minimum of 12 years' relevant experience preferably gained in the operating railway environment, of which 5 years should be at supervisory level in managing system safety / assurance systems
- Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferred
- Experience in developing systems safety processes/systems and human factors integration, preferably in railway sector
- Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and reporting writing skills
