IT Engineer for System Infrastructure

Responsibilities:

• Participate in design workshops and discussions with different teams: Clearly explains the design, and to analyze and propose options, to facilitate the overall integration of different systems and etc;

• Perform daily monitoring, performance tuning, patch management, and troubleshooting for Windows Server/Linux environments, including core services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VMware/Hyper-V virtualization platforms to ensure high availability and stability.

• Participate in small to medium-scale IT infrastructure projects (e.g., server capacity expansion, data center relocation, new office network deployment); prepare relevant technical documentation.

• Act as Tier 2/Tier 3 support, assisting the helpdesk with complex technical issues and conducting post-mortem analyses for major incidents.

• Coordinate problem reporting and keep track of progress, providing regular updates to all concerned parties.

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of IT experience, which includes at least 2 years of functional/specialty experience in design and/or implementation of enterprise IT infrastructure(s).

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, network technology, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.

• Familiar with basic operations and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux and VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) or Microsoft Hyper-V; experience with containerization (Docker/K8s) is a plus.

• Proficient in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Shell, Python) to automate deployment or routine inspections.

• Solid understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols);

• Possession of operating system or related certifications may be advantageous (such as LPIC-1,RHCSA,etc.)

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.

• Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills.

• The ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• The ability to work under pressure.
