This is not a standard Executive Assistant role. This is not a calendar-management role. This is not a "support function."
This is the operational right hand to the Founder of a fast-growing, AI-augmented services business serving US-based unicorn fintechs and Mag-7 data infrastructure providers. The stakes are high. The pace is unreasonable for most. The standards are binary: things get done, or they don't.
We are looking for a Force Multiplier in the Room. You are with the Founder. In meetings. On calls. At dinners. On the road. You take the Founder's intent and you convert it into completed actions — meetings booked, decisions logged, follow-ups closed, events shipped, problems solved, people moved.
You don't just manage a schedule. You compress the Founder's day so he operates at 2x — and you use AI to operate at 2x yourself.
The Trade-Off
What you give:
- Your full focus, 6 days a week, predominantly in-person in Singapore. Flexible schedule, no fixed shifts — but the work doesn't stop Friday.
- Your ego. You will be corrected often. You will be told the way you did it wasn't good enough. Your assumptions will be challenged daily.
- Your comfort zone. You will book international travel, prep board materials, run logistics for a 30-person offsite, and host a dinner for a client CFO — all in the same week.
What you get:
- A PhD in How a Founder Actually Operates. You sit in every meeting that matters. You see how the Founder thinks, decides, hires, fires, raises, and sells.
- AI as your team. We are an AI-first company. You will be issued the full stack — Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Notion AI, Granola, and a suite of automations — and you will be expected to use them as force multipliers. One person, leveraged into ten.
- Operational and strategic skill growth in 12 months that would take 5 years at a "normal" job.
- Direct, daily access to the Founder. If your aspiration is to run a Founder's Office, become a Chief of Staff, or one day start your own company — this is the on-ramp.
- A seat in a high-growth Singapore-headquartered business serving global enterprise clients.
The Scope (What You Will Actually Do)
1. The Founder's Operating System (60%)
- Calendar with absolute precision. Every meeting has an objective, a prep doc, and a follow-up. Nothing gets booked without a reason. You protect the Founder's deep-work time like it's your own.
- Inbox triage — email, Slack, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Telegram. You filter signal from noise. You draft 80% of responses using AI. The Founder approves and ships.
- Daily, weekly, monthly cadence. Daily check-in. Weekly Founder review. Monthly board prep. You set the rhythm and you enforce it.
- Travel architecture. You build trips that compress the most value into the fewest days — Singapore ↔ NYC, London, Melbourne. Hotels, flights, drivers, dinners, meetings, optionality. Itineraries that work even when the first three plans break.
- Events & hosting. You organize team offsites, leadership dinners, client entertainment, founder community events. 4-person private dining in Singapore, 30-person leadership offsite in Bali, a 100-person client event in Sentosa — you own the experience end-to-end.
2. Get Sh*t Done (30%)
- The "I need this handled" portfolio. Visa paperwork. Property viewings. Vendor negotiations. Gift-giving. Conference registrations. Doctor appointments. Anything the Founder cannot do because he is in a meeting — you do.
- Meeting ROI. You sit in. You capture decisions. You log owners and deadlines. You follow up until things are closed. No meeting ends without distinct outcomes.
- Synthesis. You translate "Founder Vision" into "Action Plan." A 60-minute brainstorm becomes a one-page brief with owners, deadlines, dependencies, and blockers — and you used AI to draft it in 10 minutes.
3. AI-Native Execution (10%)
- You use Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Notion AI, and Granola daily — not as toys, but as leverage. You draft, summarize, research, prep, automate.
- You build small automations between the Founder's tools — Gmail, Calendar, Notion, Slack — using Zapier, Make, Apps Script, or by asking an AI to write the code for you.
- You ship faster than people think is possible because you have AI doing 80% of the first draft on everything you touch.
The DNA (Who Survives Here)
- Get-It-Done over Talk-About-It. You see a problem and you solve it. You don't write a memo about the problem.
- High Speed, Low Drag. You don't ask "How do I do this?" — you say "I've done it three ways, which one do you want?"
- AI-Fluent. You use Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity daily. You don't say "I'm not technical." You learn. Fast.
- Discretion is Currency. You will see cap tables, client contracts, salary data, personal finances, family matters. A single breach of trust is a single-strike exit.
- Direct Feedback is a Gift. You will be corrected. Often. Quickly. You don't take it personally — you take it professionally and you fix it.
- Anticipation. You see what the Founder needs before he asks. You order the car before the meeting ends. You book the table before the trip is confirmed. You print the brief before he asks for it.
- In the room. You are physically present, in Singapore, available. This is not a remote role.
The Profile (Two Archetypes Thrive Here)
1. The Top-Tier EA Ready to Level Up. You've EA'd for a senior leader at a bank, consultancy, fund, or scale-up. You've maxed out what you can learn there. You want a Founder, a startup, and a real seat at the table — not another rotation in a corporate pool.
2. The Operator Who Wants Founder Proximity. You've worked in ops, project management, hospitality, or events. You're not a "traditional" EA — you want to be in the room where decisions get made and learn how to run a company by sitting next to one being built.
Both share this: You are the person your friends call when they need to "figure something out." You are in a season where building skills and exposure matters more than a comfortable title. You want ownership, not 9-to-5. You want to look back in 24 months and know you got 5 years of growth.
What You've Done Before (Evidence, Not Titles)
We care about what you've shipped, not what you were called. At least 3 of these should describe you:
- Supported a Founder, CEO, MD, or C-level executive directly (not as part of a pool)
- Organized an event for 20+ people end-to-end — venue, catering, agenda, logistics, follow-up
- Managed complex international travel across 3+ time zones
- Built a system, dashboard, template, or workflow that you used daily and shared with others
- Used AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Granola, etc.) as a daily part of your workflow — not a novelty
- Worked in a high-growth or early-stage company (2x–10x scaling in headcount or revenue)
- Handled sensitive information (cap tables, contracts, personal data, deal terms) without incident
- Drafted external-facing communications that went out under someone else's name and landed well
The Filter (Do Not Apply If…)
- You are not currently based in Singapore with the legal right to work
- You are looking for a 9-to-5 with clear boundaries
- You need a fixed schedule and predictable workload
- You describe yourself as "detail-oriented" but have never shipped an event or built a workflow
- Your tech skills are limited to "Microsoft Office Suite"
- You have never used Claude, ChatGPT, or Perplexity as part of your daily workflow
- You need to be told what to do — this role requires you to figure out what needs doing
- You are uncomfortable with direct, frequent feedback and being told a better way exists
- You think being an EA means saying "yes" and managing diaries
How to Apply
- Complete the application form. We read every submission. We respond only to those who clearly fit.
- No cover letters. No CVs at first stage. The form is the filter.
