Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

1. Application & System Support

Act as primary or secondary IT contact person for assigned business applications, including but not limited to: Merimen, TMoL, Dobuflo System, StreamServe, Premium System, Sun Accounting, etc.

Provide daily application support to business users to ensure smooth system operations.

2. User Support & Incident Handling

Deliver users' support, troubleshooting and error reporting for supported systems.

Receive, assess and respond to application-related incidents reported by users in accordance with IT incident management procedures.

Coordinate with internal IT team members and vendors to resolve system issues and restore services promptly.

3. UAT & Change Support

Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support during system enhancements, fixes or configuration changes.

Assist in validating system fixes and confirming resolution with end users before closure of incidents.

4. Operational & Coordination Duties

Support daily IT operations related to assigned applications.

Maintain proper communication with users on issue status, workarounds and resolution updates.

Follow established IT policies, escalation paths and documentation requirements for all incidents and support activities.

In addition to the existing application support responsibilities, the following additional competency may be included: Business Analysis & Data Capability (Advantage):
Possesses Business Analysis skills, with knowledge of Big Data concepts, enabling better understanding of business requirements, data flows and system impacts to support informed decision-making and system enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Preferably with minimum 1 year experience in IT Support / Helpdesk / Onsite / Desktop support or fresh graduates with relevant internship or hands‑on experience are welcome
  • Fresh Diploma / Degree holders in IT or related discipline are welcome to apply
  • Hands‑on experience with: Windows OS (Desktop & Server), Endpoint management tools (Ivanti preferred), ITSM / Ticketing systems
  • Basic knowledge of networking, IT security, and infrastructure
  • Exposure to Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server is a plus
  • Familiar with Microsoft 365, Office, and collaboration tools
  • Possess good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Able to multi-task and is a team player
  • Prepare to take up Certificate In General Insurance (CGI) exam if required.
