Job Description

• Carry out maintenance, repair and overhaul work on heavy vehicles, has diagnostic capability and able to perform major repair on engine and transmission
• Ensure high standard of workmanship and minimize turnaround time for scheduled repairs and inspections to meet workshop’s service standards and according to job order.
• Notify Team Leader of unusual repair problems which will require major repair and replacement parts recommendation.
• Complete work order for each vehicle and unit serviced.
• Adhere to defined guidelines in regards to safety, orderliness and etc.
• Performs ad hoc duties as assigned by Superiors
  
  

Job Requirements

• Academic qualification: NTC 2 or NITEC 2 in Automotive Technology or equivalent
• Prior experience of at least 2 to 3 years in performing automotive service repair (commercial vehicle)
• Competent in basic English (verbal & written)
• Preferably with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting for electrical and electronics.
• Preferably with at least class 3 driving license
  
  

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM to 05:30 PM; Alternate Saturdays, 08:30 AM to 12:30 PM
