Job Responsibilities:
Team Management: Supervise and motivate retail staff to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of customer service. Coaching and guidance to team members; this includes training new employees, assigning tasks, and conducting performance reviews. Manage disciplinary matters including conducting counselling session and preparing corrective action documentations when necessary
Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring a positive shopping experience and resolving issues promptly.
Sales and Inventory Management: Monitor sales performance, manage inventory levels, and conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock availability and accuracy. This includes communicating with area supervisor/ District manager on inventory orders.
Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations, roster planning, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.
Promotional Strategies: Plan and implement sales speech to convert customers and enhance sales.
Budget Management: Assist in managing budgets and store expenses, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
Any other ad hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
GCE ‘N’ / ‘O’ / ‘A’ levels with a pass in English or equivalent.
Sales-driven and results oriented.
Strong passion for customer service.
Relevant experience in the retail industry.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Energetic and motivated with a positive mindset.
Able to lead and motivate the team.
Good knowledge of MS office tools.
Able to work on rotating shift, weekends and public holidays.
