Job Summary
Perform full-spectrum procurement activities to support project needs, including sourcing, negotiating, and managing purchase orders for machinery spare parts and materials from local and overseas suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Execute procurement processes by generating, validating, and maintaining purchase orders aligned with project requirements
- Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services for purchase to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
- Source and onboard potential suppliers following correct procedures and documentation standards
- Maintain up-to-date supplier contracts and organize all related records accurately
- Negotiate prices and terms with local and overseas suppliers for machinery spare parts and materials to secure favorable deals
- Manage daily email communications promptly and professionally to support procurement operations
- Liaise with overseas suppliers and clients on purchase-related matters and monitor shipment status to ensure timely delivery
- Prepare and issue tax invoices, quotations, and purchase orders accurately and on time
- Update purchase orders in the purchasing system and oversee stock control to support project material delivery requirements
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key suppliers to manage delivery schedules and product quality
- Plan, issue, and follow up on purchase orders and shipment schedules to meet daily operational purchasing need
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in purchasing, particularly in machinery parts or related fields
- Ability to learn quickly, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams
- Knowledge of sourcing spare parts is an advantage
