Job Summary
Lead and manage formwork system planning and installation to ensure precise concrete casting. Oversee material management, team coordination, quality control, safety enforcement, and site problem-solving to deliver high-quality construction outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed work methods for formwork installation based on structural requirements to ensure cast-in-place concrete meets dimensional tolerances for finish, levelness, and plumb
- Calculate formwork and support material requirements accurately to manage logistics and minimize waste
- Lead a team of 8-16 formworkers to execute high-precision assembly, propping, and alignment adhering to specifications
- Conduct comprehensive pre-concrete pour inspections focusing on stability, water-tightness, dimensional accuracy, and support system integrity
- Create and manage detailed schedules for formwork activities to ensure smooth integration with rebar fixing and concreting trades
- Enforce safety protocols rigorously, emphasizing work-at-height, lifting operations, and formwork support system stability to prevent accidents
- Collaborate with project managers, rebar foremen, and concreting foremen to resolve interface issues and technical problems promptly
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to address design changes and unforeseen site challenges effectively
- Adapt to dynamic site environments and complete high-intensity tasks within scheduled timelines
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Formwork Foreman or Senior Formwork Worker in the construction industry

- Ability to adapt to site environments and manage high-intensity workloads on schedule
