Senior Procurement Contracts Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review, draft, and negotiate standard and non-standard supplier agreements (low to mid-level complexity) to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with internal legal guidelines and purchasing policy with minimal oversight.
• Review M&A agreements, assess break fees, and manage disposition agreements when applicable.
• Validate contract packages for accuracy and compliance with internal approvals and business practices; draft executive approval requests for key legal clauses and business issue summaries.
• Interface with internal lines of business and subsidiaries to understand unique requirements and tailor processes/documents to end-user needs.
• Prepare contract status reports and complete contract log processing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: BA/BS degree.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of contracts experience.
• Core Skills: Proven negotiation, research, and analytical problem-solving skills; extensive contracts knowledge.
• Execution: Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment under tight deadlines, and implement standard processes.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication; strong customer service attitude; ability to handle high-stress or potentially confrontational situations with patience, diplomacy, and tact.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Law degree.
• Bilingual skills (English and Japanese).
• Experience with Oracle applications.
