Just Graze is a modern grazing bar in George Town, Penang, specialising in dine-in grazing boards, curated grazing boxes, cheese, cured meats, and wine.

We create thoughtful, beautifully presented grazing experiences for dine-in guests, takeaway, gifting, gatherings, and events.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operations Manager located in George Town, Penang.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day dine-in operations at Just Graze, ensuring smooth service flow, consistent product presentation, excellent guest experience, and strong team performance.

The role requires someone hands-on, organised, and hospitality-minded — someone who can take ownership of the floor, lead service standards, and support the overall growth of the brand.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing daily dine-in operations and service flow
  • Managing guest experience from arrival to payment
  • Ensuring dine-in grazing boards, beverages, and service standards are consistent
  • Coordinating reservations, walk-ins, group bookings, and event enquiries
  • Leading, training, and coordinating service and operations staff
  • Managing opening and closing procedures
  • Monitoring stock levels, inventory, wastage, and ordering needs
  • Ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, food safety, and overall presentation standards
  • Handling customer feedback and resolving operational issues professionally
  • Supporting takeaway and delivery orders when required
  • Working closely with the founder on systems, promotions, customer experience, and future growth

This role includes a basic monthly salary with a performance-based bonus or profit-sharing structure, subject to agreed targets and company profitability.

Qualifications
  • Experience in F&B, hospitality, hotel operations, restaurant operations, or customer-facing service roles
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
  • Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage dine-in operations independently and solve problems quickly
  • Comfortable leading the floor, serving guests, and maintaining service standards
  • Basic understanding of stock control, wastage, and operational efficiency
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, growing F&B environment
  • Experience with POS systems, online ordering platforms, or reservations is an advantage
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field is preferred but not required

We are looking for someone responsible, proactive, and hands-on — someone who can lead the dine-in floor, manage daily operations, support the team, and help build Just Graze into a recognised grazing and hosting brand in Penang.
