Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Generation: Support overall team revenue by actively participating in all stages of the sales process, including lead generation, handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing post-sales assistance.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients by delivering timely, accurate information, resolving concerns, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Proposal & Quotation Preparation: Prepare accurate and professional sales proposals and quotations, ensuring they are delivered to clients in a timely manner.
  • Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, contributing to the development of effective sales strategies.
  • Trade Shows & Events: Assist in organizing and executing trade shows, industry events, and product demonstrations to enhance brand visibility and promote offerings.
  • Administrative Support: Perform a variety of administrative functions, including maintaining sales records, preparing documentation, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings and appointments.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or relevant certifications in Marine, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in the marine industry or a similar technical sector is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of the marine or comparable industry, with familiarity in related products, services, customer expectations, and market dynamics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across various levels of the organization and with clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Analytical thinking and effective problem-solving abilities to address customer concerns and support sales efforts.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work well across departments.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first approach in all business interactions.
