This position reports to the CEO Office of Focus Point Vision Care Group Sdn. Bhd.


Essential Job Functions:


Focus Point is seeking a highly accomplished, strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our comprehensive in-house HR function and drive organizational excellence.

Working closely with the CEO Office, you will serve as a vital strategic partner to executive leadership and nationwide business units. This role demands a powerful blend of high level strategic planning and precise operational oversight, aligning human capital initiatives with real time commercial objectives to support the Group's rapid market expansion and long term vision.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic HR Leadership & Performance Culture

  • Executive Partnership: Act in an HRBP capacity, collaborating with the CEO Office to translate the company’s long term vision into robust HR strategies.
  • Performance Systems: Partner with the CEO Office to establish and sustain a rigorous performance management system anchored by clear, measurable KPIs.
  • Workforce and Fiscal Control: Spearhead organizational workforce planning and drive the formulation and optimization of annual HR budgets.


Organizational Design & Talent Pipeline Management

  • Organizational Structure: Drive organizational design initiatives to ensure the company structure remains agile, efficient, and fully equipped to support aggressive business scaling.
  • Future Proofing: Build, manage, and sustain a robust internal and external talent pipeline, identifying critical roles and establishing clear succession planning frameworks.


Talent Acquisition & Capability Building

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute sophisticated recruitment strategies to consistently meet the Group's aggressive retail hiring targets.
  • Upskilling: Elevate institutional capability by training the internal HR team and line managers in competency based interview techniques.


Total Rewards, Payroll & Compliance

  • Strategic Compensation & Benefits: Review and optimize competitive total rewards frameworks, design compelling incentive models tailored for a fast paced retail environment, and implement impactful employee value propositions.
  • Operational Precision: Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure payroll services and HR operations consistently meet strict turnaround times.
  • Governance: Ensure absolute compliance with Malaysian employment laws and industrial relations standards.


Learning & Development

  • Continuous Learning: Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate and roll out specialized training programs across business units.


Job Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a proven track record of managing and mentoring an HR team.
  • Industry Background: Prior experience within the retail sector or a similarly fast paced consumer industry is highly preferred.
  • Career Track: A stable and progressive career history, demonstrating readiness to thrive in a highly competitive, expanding corporate environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or equivalent. Professional certifications (MIHRM, SHRM, CIPD) are highly advantageous.
  • Core Competencies: Strong stakeholder management, operational precision, and deep familiarity with Malaysian Labor Law.
  • Languages: Full professional fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
