About the role

Be the first voice our client's guests hear. As a Virtual Front Desk Receptionist, you'll deliver hospitality-grade service to callers in Mandarin and English — managing reservations, enquiries, and guest requests with the warmth and polish of a five-star front desk, all from our Kuala Lumpur hub. This is a customer experience role for professionals who treat every interaction as a moment to elevate the brand.


What you'll do

  • Welcome callers in fluent Mandarin and English, setting the tone for a premium guest experience
  • Handle reservations, modifications, and enquiries with accuracy and care
  • Resolve guest concerns calmly and efficiently — anticipating needs before they're asked
  • Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and information requests across multiple systems
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of every interaction
  • Collaborate with team leads and back-office partners to close the loop on guest requests
  • Uphold service standards that reflect a hospitality, travel, or luxury brand environment


What you'll bring

Must-have

  • Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin; professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Minimum 1 year of customer-facing experience in a service-driven environment
  • Strong communication, active listening, and rapport-building skills
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment with multiple systems open at once
  • A composed, professional demeanour — even under pressure


Preferred (will fast-track your application)

  • Background in Travel & Hospitality — hotels, airlines, cruise lines, luxury retail, premium F&B, or concierge services
  • Experience in front office, guest services, reservations, or call centre roles for hospitality brands
  • Familiarity with PMS, CRM, or reservation systems (Opera, Amadeus, Salesforce, or similar)
