Our Human Resources Department is looking for an Executive, Industrial Relations, based in Mak Mandin, Penang.

This role will support employer and employee relations, union engagement, disciplinary matters, performance management, employee counselling, IR reporting and compliance with the Employment Act and Industrial Relations Act.

The candidate will also be involved in liaising with external agencies such as Jabatan Tenaga Kerja (JTK) and Jabatan Perhubungan Perusahaan (JPP), coordinating Union Worksite Committee meetings, monitoring MC trends and absenteeism, preparing monthly IR reports and supporting HR operational matters where required.

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Law or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Industrial Relations, employee relations, disciplinary case handling and unionized working environments.
• Good knowledge of the Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act and employee relations practices.
• Good communication, negotiation, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Strong integrity, confidentiality, maturity and professionalism in handling sensitive HR matters.
