Job Purpose:
Accenture is seeking discerning individuals plugged into internet technologies at the intersection of crisis, geopolitical, and user harm issues. You will be working on the leading edge of fast-developing issues like the spread of misinformation and potential breaches in election integrity.

Strong writing and communication skills are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Synthesis: Synthesize multidimensional information and data sources clearly and concisely for different audiences.
- Trend Analysis: Investigate, analyze, and report on identified trends, emerging threats, and new forms of abuse.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate, analyze, and conceptualize strategic risks and translate how global developments could cause potential adverse impacts on the client.
- Reporting & Documentation: Document all data, research procedures, and findings meticulously.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Job Qualifications & Experience Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: BA/BS Degree in Political Science, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Domain Expertise: Strong understanding and work experience in international/geopolitical events and how they impact global businesses, OR relevant work experience in a research-based role.
- Language Proficiency: (i) Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (ability to synthesize complex data clearly and concisely). (ii) Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) in Arabic, with a proven ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Fluency and experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or G Suite.
- Core Competencies: (i) Calm under pressure and able to operate well in urgent, fast-developing situations. (ii) Strong deep-dive, critical thinking, and multitasking skills with a high degree of initiative. (iii) Strong interest in the internet, culture, news media, and current events.
- Work Flexibility: Must be willing to work fully onsite at Kuala Lumpur office, 5 days a week, on a 24/7 rotational shift schedule (including weekends and public holidays).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of an investigative, data-driven approach to answering complex questions.
- Familiarity with internet technologies and related policy/regulatory environments.
- Cultural Context: Native Arabic speaker, OR fluent in Arabic with at least 5 of the last 10 years spent living in an Arabic-speaking country to ensure deep cultural awareness of the target market.
