Responsibilities

• Security Control:

Monitor and control access to company premises, check employee and visitor ID cards, manage vehicle traffic, and conduct regular patrols to prevent crime or vandalism.

• Incident Prevention:

Detect and report unusual incidents such as fire, theft, accidents, or security breaches. Respond promptly to emergencies according to standard operating procedures (SOP).

• Enforcing Rules:

Ensure compliance with company safety rules and procedures, including the proper use of safety equipment and uniforms. Address any violations by employees or visitors.

• Reporting and Documentation:

Record and report all safety-related incidents, activities, and observations. This includes filling out logbooks, incident reports, and preparing daily or weekly reports.

• Collaboration with Authorities:

Work with police or other law enforcement agencies when there are criminal incidents or emergencies.

• Maintenance:

Ensure security equipment such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems are functioning properly. May also be responsible for maintaining other security devices.

• First Aid:

Some security guards may be trained in first aid and provide emergency assistance to injured employees or visitors.

Additional Requirements & Considerations

• Shift Work:

Must be willing to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

• Training:

The company may provide safety and first aid training.

• Qualifications:

Relevant work experience may be required.

• Language Skills:

Must be able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia (BM), and English (BI).
