RESPONSIBILITIES/ KEY ACTIVITIES

• Improve Department Performance: Monitor and improve the performance of the production department to meet company goals.

• Maintain Good Industrial Relations: Foster a positive working environment and maintain strong relationships with staff and stakeholders.

• Optimize Product Manufacture: Ensure products are manufactured efficiently, meeting quality standards and deadlines.

• Develop Staff Skills: Implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the production team.

• Guarantee and Improve Product Quality: Continuously monitor and improve the quality of products to meet customer expectations.

• Customer Satisfaction: Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction (end-user or co-manufacturing) and address issues due to product quality promptly.

• Ensure Safety: Ensure the safety of personnel and goods, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.

• Reduce Risks: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the production process.

• Environmental Impact: Develop and implement practices to reduce the environmental impact of production activities.

• Market Adaptation: Finalize and develop new product specifications with relevant stakeholders to respond to changes in market prices and demands.

• Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality.

• Any other projects and tasks as reasonably required by the Company.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

Education

• Bachelor's Degree/ Professional Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years in production management, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.

• Capable of working independently in adherence to regulations, of remaining calm under pressure.

• Able to demonstrate a sense of responsibility and high professional standards, objectivity and an ability to see the bigger picture.
